The hideout features an en-suite bedroom with queen bed and bathroom with an indoor & outdoor shower. Coffee/tea station features a mini bar fridge, kettle & basic crockery. Guests can enjoy a fine dining experience at the reputable Walkersons hotel country restaurant or enjoy meals at one of the many restaurants in Dullstroom Town.

The Estate

Walkersons Estate measures 800 hectares of rolling countryside and offers some of the best fly-fishing waters in the region with 14 dams and 4 km’s of the perennial Lunsklip river running through it. Excellent birding and various species of game are found throughout the estate and up into the mountains, including Zebra, Black Wildebeest, Blesbok, and various other small antelope species. The mountain hiking trail will lead you to breath-taking panoramic views of the countryside and the estate offers the perfect setting for picnics next to the river or simply lounging under the willows.

Getting there
By road:
R540. Dullstroom. It will take approximately 2½ hours to reach Dullstroom from Pretoria or Johannesburg by car. Once you have reached Dullstroom, you will find the Walkersons turnoff approximately 10km from Dullstroom on the right-hand side.

By Air - Runway:
For aircraft there is a 1000m long, 8m wide runway and helipad. Free aircraft parking, walk from your plane to your room. 
Anyone using these facilities is required to sign an indemnity form.

On the Estate:
Golf cart rental available upon request. (For fishing and getting around on the estate)
