River and Rest is a modern farmhouse in a sought after golf and trout estate on the outskirts of Dullstroom: Highland Gate. Retreat to the countryside, taking in the sounds of the river, spectacular views and serene surroundings. Play a round of golf at one of the most sought after courses in the country, take a walk or cycle on one of the many trails, or relax with your family, soaking up every bit of precious quality time together.

The house consists of four bedrooms, two of which are en suite and two of which share a bathroom. There is a large ten seater dining room table just off the kitchen, an outdoor seating area with a Weber, and two seating areas in the lounge. There are fireplaces in the one bedroom, dining room/kitchen and lounge. The lounge fireplace flute also warms the 4th bedroom and loft space, and is safely contained in both areas. Both the loft and lounge have TV's , equipped with Netflix, Dstv and Disney +. There is fast, uncapped wifi available to guests. The house is powered by an inverter and backup battery during power outages and loadshedding for the convenience of uninterrupted power. Please be cognisant of power usage during this time.

Bedroom 1: King bed, en suite full bathroom.
Bedroom 2: Two single beds, one pull out single mattress. (Only for children up to 16 years old.)
Bedroom 3: Two single beds, one pull out single mattress. (Only for children up to 16 years old.)
Main Bedroom 4: King bed, en suite full bathroom with a fireplace. 
Bedroom 5 (Loft): Double bed futon with bedding (Only for children up to 16 years old.)

BATHROOMS:
2 ensuite full bathrooms.
1 shared bathroom, also full bathroom.

SERVICING: On request @ R300.00 per day.

IN THE KITCHEN:

A starter bundle of firewood, matches and firelighters are supplied at the house upon arrival.

INVERTER & BACKUP BATTERY-during power outages and loadshedding.

ACTIVITIES at the Estate: Golf, fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, clubhouse with soccer field, trampoline, jungle gym.
