Critchley Hackle features a private dam stocked with trout so you can indulge in fly fishing. We have an outdoor swimming pool and offer accommodation with private patios and views of the dam, gardens and the surrounding mountains.

The Lodge is conveniently close to all the town has to offer, including interesting shops, restaurants and many other activities. Whether you are here to unwind for a few days or for business, we will always strive to exceed your expectations.

ROYAL DE LUXE SUITE B (1 Unit)

This luxury loose standing unit consists of a private patio, large lounge overlooking the lake, with fireplace and a dining area. DSTV and Wi-Fi. Good variety of toiletries, other amenities, firewood etc. Main bedroom on ground floor with en-suite bathroom - large bath in a bay window - with a large shower and double vanities. Upstairs second bedroom with own TV, two single beds and a second bathroom with toilet and bath. Fully self-catering kitchenette with air fryer, dishwashing machine and tumble drier.

ROYAL SUITE C (1Unit)

This unit consists of a large lounge overlooking the lake, with fireplace and a dining area. Good variety of toiletries, other amenities, firewood etc. Main bedroom on ground floor with en-suite bathroom - large bath in a bay window - with a very large shower and double vanities. Upstairs second bedroom with two single beds and a second bathroom with toilet and bath, but no shower. Small kitchenette, but not fully self-catering.

These beautifully appointed rooms face onto the trout dam. The main feature of the lounges are the wood burning fireplaces, comfy couches and writing desks (in some units) to finish off the setting. These suites all have a lounge and a patio furnished with two wooden chairs facing the lake. Can accommodate one to two people. All rooms are individually decorated, and offer a fireplace, ensuite bathroom and television with hotel DSTV, writing desk (selected units), tea and coffee making facilities with coffee machine in some units, and patio.

TOWERS ROOMS 1 2 3

Two of these spacious bedrooms have a king size bed and the other has two ¾ twin beds. The rooms all have en-suite bathrooms with both shower and a bath. There is a patio offering a dam view furnished with two wooden chairs and table, ideal for late afternoon sun downers. Can accommodate one to two people. All rooms are individually decorated and offer a fireplace, en-suite bathroom and television with hotel DSTV and tea and coffee making facilities.

GARDEN COTTAGES 7 8 9

Two of these comfortable spacious cottages have queen size beds and two twin beds in the lounge area and the other one a king size bed in both the bedroom and lounge area. The room has an en-suite bathroom with both a shower and a bath. The units are ideal for families and can accommodate two to four people. The units have a fireplace, en-suite bathroom and television with hotel DSTV and tea and coffee making facilities. Garden view, but not directly overlooking the dam.

The privately managed and owned onsite restaurant offers an assortment of fusion cuisine as well as a selection of old traditional favourites which features a rustic country garden appeal and overlooks the estate's own private dam. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and is open to guests and day visitors.
