Walkersons Private Estate comprises 114 stands situated amongst 800 hectares of rolling countryside. Offering some of the best fly-fishing waters in the entire region with 11 trophy trout stocked dams, perfect for the novice or the advanced fisherman.  Accommodation prices do not include fishing permits.

The estate is divided into sections of cul-de-sacs with a farm village atmosphere. Trout and Nature Haven is located along an Oak lined avenue overlooking two well stocked Trout Dams.  

The two farm style self catering homes have 3 en –suite bedrooms sleeping up to 6 adults (max) and 4 children each. The houses are within walking distance from one-another making it ideal for larger groups. The houses can also be booked out on an individual basis.


LIVING AREA
Spacious entrance with a large 12 seater dining table and cosy lounge looking out onto the dams. A wood burning slow combustion fireplace forms a centre piece in the living area ensuring warmth on chilly winter days. A Bundle of firewood is provided for each night's stay. The living area, which also has a TV and premium DSTV decoder, opens onto a private patio with both charcoal and gas BBQ facilities.

The open-plan kitchen is great for entertaining and has a distinct "country" feel. The kitchen is well equipped with a 4-plate electric stove/oven,  fridge/freezer, microwave and all modern appliances. There is also a separate scullery with a dishwasher (tablets included).

BEDROOMS

Enjoy a wonderful night's rest while wrapped up in premium Egyptian Cotton sheets.

1. Main en-suite with a King XL bed, opens onto the front patio. This room offers a spacious dressing room (lots of cupboards/ and dressing table) and a bathroom with bath and shower en suite.
2. Queen size bed & single bed. This room features an en-suite shower and also opens up onto a private patio.
3. Queen size bed & single bed. This room also features an en-suite shower.

The house is equipped with solar systems so load shedding will no longer affect our guests.

A Camping cot is available on request. Mattress and waterproof sheet provided. Please bring own cot linen

All bedrooms have electric blankets and there is a heating system in the bathrooms. The house has been well insulated against the cold.

Each house has a lock-up garage as well as a number safe inside the house.  Walkersons Private Estate has 24/7 security patrolling the area day and night. Each house has an alarm system which is coupled directly to the security team.
