Self-Catering Farmhouse:

The Spitskop Plaashuis is a large upmarket guest house situated on a small scale working farm with magnificent views down the valley towards Lydenburg. It is an ideal venue for a family or a group of friends looking to relax in beautiful surrounds. It is very well located between Bosch Hoek, The Red Barn and Yellowwood Wedding Venues!

Perfect for hiking, cycling, reading, cooking and relaxing. Summertime is ideal for swimming in the farm dam.

Accommodation details (10 Sleeper):

The house has three living rooms, each with its own Jet master fireplace. All living areas are North facing.
A dining room that seats 10 people at the table.
A huge stoep with undercover braai and potjie-facilities and table seating for 12 people.
The sunny patios are perfect for morning coffee to evening sun downers.
The well-equipped open plan kitchen has a microwave, fridge-freezer, 2 electric ovens, a gas oven and a gas hob.

The separate scullery has a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier.
The house has 5 bedrooms, sleeping 10 people. All 5 bedrooms are North facing and open onto a veranda.
The 2 en-suite bedrooms have king sized beds. (1 with full bathroom and the other with bath and shower)
The remaining 3 bedrooms have twin beds. (1 full bathroom to share)

New top quality beds and bedding are used throughout the house.
Each bedroom has additional blankets.
Altogether, there are 3 full bathrooms, 2 of which are en-suite.

A private Study is available.
There are 2 automated garages with direct entry to the house.
DSTV with dual view is available in 2 sitting rooms.
The living areas are spacious and ideal for entertaining.

High Rise vehicles are recommended in rainy weather.
This unit is serviced, Except on Sundays.
Security: Excellent security with electric fence, beams, alarm and armed response.

A Collection of books is available for reading at your leisure.
Firewood is provided on arrival. (If needed, more can be purchased on the farm)
Fire side blankets are provided.

The huge fenced garden has swings for children.
The house is near to a 5 Star hotel, day trip fishing and Golf Course, as well as all the activities in Dullstroom.

NB Please note that the staircase and pond may make the venue unsuitable for toddlers.
