Hamill's Lodge
(Sleeps 16 max)
A spacious, well-furnished four-bedroom lodge.
Each bedroom has a private entrance, en-suite bathrooms and a sleeper couch, so the lodge can sleep eight comfortably with an extra eight on sleeper couches if required. All the bedrooms are connected to the central living area by wooden decks.
The central living area features a modern kitchen, a dining area and a lounge centered around a lovely fireplace.
A magnificent view of the valley and dam can be appreciated from the deck. Enjoy a braai or spend an evening watching the moon rise while sitting round the fire pit on the deck.
Single beds can be reconfigured into double beds where possible – please advise bedroom make-up ASAP (no less than 1 week prior to check in) otherwise bedroom set up will remain as above without set up of sleeper couches.
The first load of wood is supplied. However extra wood is charged at R100 per wheelbarrow payable at the main farmhouse. If you require more wood, please advise the cleaning lady. Dams are stocked regularly. Although we work on a “catch and release” policy, we do understand the inevitable can happen. Fish caught and taken is charged at R100 per fish payable at the main farmhouse. We trust our guests to be honest. Please advise if you would like a guided walk through the fauna and flora of the farm should the farm owner be available. We now have a 12Km mountain bike track so feel free to bring your own bicycle.
