Glen House- 8 sleeper private cottage.

1 loft room with 2 singles and sleeper couch.
NO electric heaters or electric blankets.

Electricity at Glenaden:
Due to all the problems with the ESKOM cable to Glenaden, we have decided to go “Eco” at the farm. We have installed Solar panels with inverter and batteries, backed up by a standby generator at each house, as well as gas geysers and gas fridges. The do's and don'ts list are posted in each house. Please adhere to this.
Servicing: The units are serviced on a daily basis.
Living area : Cozy lounge with fireplace, bar area and well-equipped kitchen with gas stove, gas fridge/freezer. NO microwave.
DSTV - commercial guest house package on DSTV which includes Mnet, All MNET Movie Channels, All SABC Channels, ETV and all Super Sport Channels (Bring own card). Not DSTV Explora compatible.
Patio with braai facilities overlooking dam.
The 2 houses are positioned about a kilometre apart, and have easy access to the R540 between Dullstroom and Lydenburg.
Strictly no 4 wheelers or motorbikes allowed.
Activities:
Trout fishing (rowing boat available- bring own rods).
Dams - Rainbow trout. River - Brown trout. No catch and release allowed.
Please check with reservations regarding fishing reports as this venue does have problems with Otters.
Swimming - a lovely small waterfall in the river.
Hiking.
Visits to Dullstroom.
Cell Reception: Intermittent
The venue does stock their dams, but there is an otter problem. NOT for the serious fisherman!
