SELF CATERING stone cottage in beautiful and tranquil Critchley Common, reminiscent of a scenic English village. The cottage is built on two levels. Elderly guests and young children should take care when using the steep staircase and preferably sleep in one of the downstairs bedrooms.
The stone-walled cottage is surrounded by beautiful and well maintained gardens with roses, lemon verbena, various trees and a variety of shrubs. Nr 18 is ideally situated with a perfect view of the duck pond in the front and the mountain at the back, making it the ideal tranquil get-away experience. Stargazers can sit on the back stoep in the evenings and look up at the vast expanse for hours on end, weather permitted of course. If you are lucky, you will also see the native Klip Dassies basking on the rocks in the sun and hear the haunting sound of the Fish Eagle.
